Terms of Service

Effective date: June 19, 2026 · Maitri Family Assistant

1Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Maitri, including the website, web dashboard, WhatsApp-based family assistant, and related services. By using Maitri, you agree to these terms.

If you are using Maitri on behalf of a family member, you are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to provide relevant family, contact, and task information.

2What Maitri Provides

Maitri helps families coordinate everyday support for parents, including reminders, order workflows, ride requests, approval visibility, and related family logistics.

Maitri is not a medical provider, emergency service, bank, pharmacy, transportation provider, or substitute for professional advice. Third-party services may have their own terms and requirements.

3Accounts and Family Access

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for ensuring that family members or caregivers you invite are authorized to access shared information.

Family-linked users may be able to see activity, approvals, reminders, and action history where Maitri is designed to provide shared visibility.

4Approvals and User Responsibility

Maitri is designed to support approval-first workflows for high-trust actions. You are responsible for reviewing task details before approving or completing actions through Maitri or any connected service.

OTP, payment, account, delivery, ride, or other third-party confirmation steps remain subject to the rules and systems of the relevant third-party provider.

5Pricing, Free Trials, and Billing

Pricing shown on the Maitri website may vary by plan, region, or promotional offer. Any paid plan will present applicable charges before payment is required.

If a free trial is offered with no credit card required, you will not be charged unless you choose to start a paid plan or provide payment information for a paid subscription.

For paid subscriptions, billing renews according to the billing cycle shown at checkout unless cancelled before renewal.

6Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund charges already paid.

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Maitri may provide refunds where required by law, where a billing error occurred, or where we determine that a refund is appropriate based on the circumstances.

If you need help with cancellation or billing, contact us using the email below.

7Acceptable Use

  • Do not use Maitri for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
  • Do not attempt to bypass security, rate limits, approvals, or account controls.
  • Do not submit information you do not have permission to share.
  • Do not rely on Maitri as the only channel for emergencies or urgent medical care.

8Service Availability

Maitri may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee that Maitri or connected third-party services will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

9Privacy

Use of Maitri is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it.
